Today, we're excited to share that Robert Reynolds is joining Pinwheel as its first Head of Product.
Robert is a fintech industry veteran with a proven track record of building and leading fintechs from their earliest stages through periods of hyper-growth and unicorn valuations. Robert was the Chief Technology Officer for Avant, the only credit first neobank aimed specifically at lowering the costs and barriers of borrowing for everyday people. Robert’s teams founded many products, including the Avant credit card, which still operates as one of the top 25 card issuers in the U.S. Next, Robert and his team began innovating upon Avant's proprietary platform and discovered they could utilize it to help other financial institutions accelerate their digital banking and lending transformations. This creative use of their platform would become an entirely separate business known as Amount, a company where Robert was the Chief Strategy Officer.
Expanding Pinwheel's product suite

Robert’s addition to the team comes just on the heels of last week’s introduction of the company’s first Chief Revenue Officer, Lauren Crossett, and not long after Jeff Hudesman joined as the first Chief Information Security Officer.
