We began beta testing PreMatch, our groundbreaking new solution for authorizing payroll accounts, in Q1 2024. We’re thrilled to share that the industry’s only 100% credential-less solution to automatically identify users’ payroll accounts is living up to the hype. This innovation requires customer profile data to be shared with Pinwheel, enabling eligible users to bypass payroll search and login steps to execute a fully credential-less direct deposit switch in just two clicks. Early adopters of our PreMatch feature have seen incredible results.
Perpay was among Pinwheel’s first customers and has been running Pinwheel Deposit Switch since 2020. As a result of their long-standing partnership, Perpay was selected to be a beta partner for our next generation solution. Implementation of the Pinwheel Prematch feature took Perpay only 3 weeks, after which they saw an immediate performance uplift. Perpay customers eligible for PreMatch saw a 2.19x increase to switch success rate and an 11% overall switch conversion improvement.
Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) was the first new customer to deploy PreMatch in production. EECU, recognized as a top Credit Union in Texas on Forbes’ list of America’s Best-in-state Credit Unions 2024, was an early adopter of automated direct deposit switching, but they were dissatisfied with the performance of their initial provider.
With increasing direct deposit enrollment a key growth pillar for 2024, EECU continued to evaluate their options.
