We are thrilled to welcome another Jack Henry Banno platform customer, Security Bank of Kansas City (SBKC), to the Pinwheel family.

SBKC knew that securing direct deposit is one of the key drivers of primacy, yet they were only capturing direct deposit enrollment from approximately 40% of customers within their first 3 months of tenure. The SBKC leadership team decided to invest in eliminating as much friction in the enrollment experience as possible, ultimately spending 3 years evaluating available options.

SBKC’s in-branch digital account opening process allows bankers to quickly open an account and have a new client almost completely on-boarded before they leave. That process includes app download, debit card activation, alert customization - and will now include Pinwheel digital direct deposit switch. New households acquired on-line and existing clients that are switching jobs will also be able to digitally switch their direct deposit within the app or on-line.

Security Bank of Kansas City is a locally and privately-owned, state-chartered community bank that was born from a single idea – a local bank serving the community’s needs. We offer a variety of accounts, loans, personal and business services, and digital banking solutions to fit the needs of our customers.
Financial institutions on the Banno platform can take advantage of rapid deployment of Pinwheel Deposit Switch. You can read more about Pinwheel’s partnership with Jack Henry announced in January here.
